I stopped posting there a long time ago due to doctrinal disagreements. Despite knowing where I stood, they (he?) put forth antagonistic posts that made me feel like I was not welcome.

Emails that I have received since the beginning reflect that this is true.

email #1 “If that is David Norris, he is completely untrustworthy and a fraud. We discovered this early on when he started posting information which we were saying privately (which included him) on his blog.”

email #2 “Long story short, he was following factnet since way back when and he was making posts on his blog attacking people like…who posted anonymously calling them cowards and cockroaches who were afraid to come out into the light.”

email #3 “Do you know ________________? __ knows him personally and is the first one who told us to beware of Norris. He attacked _________ at one point trying to mess up their ministry. He’s just really bad news. Ask___ or ______ and they’ll tell you to just leave him alone. He is only looking for attention and wants to be a “big man”. ”

email #4 In an email soon after that, he admitted that one of the people posting on his blog was not real, but a penname he used. One by the name of Herbert Knose, supposedly a former pastor. I let it slide at that time, but _______ figured that all the posters were actually Norris. We had asked a number of times to speak on the phone to someone besides Norris, and were told no every time. Odd excuses each time we asked.

Then, one of his posters put up some post referring to Herbert Knose as if he were a real person, so I wrote Norris an email to ask him about it. I said that it made me wonder if any of them are real. He immediately wrote back a nasty email to me saying that I am far too suspicious and that he wanted nothing more to do with me. Our ‘friendship’ was over. Kaput!

I did some research on the net and I found some old posts made by someone else who suspected that Norris posts using fake names alot. It really bugged me that he keeps doing this, so I wrote an email to one of the only two guys who were real on SPM (besides Norris) by the name of Tim Wirth. (He has his own blog called The No Goofy Zone. The other guy who I think is real is Pete Garbacki and I think he still posts only occasionally.) Anyway, Wirth forwarded my email to Norris, who immediately wrote me back calling me evil. Then he made a post on SPM calling me ***** who walks all over everyone I meet, and a whole lot of other nasty stuff. He removed it minutes later, but not soon enough that I didn’t see it. I forwarded the text of it to Mr Wirth, who never wrote back to me. But I see that Norris no longer posts on his blog, and Wirth is no longer on SPM. I don’t know if it was because of what I told Wirth about Norris, or some other reason. “

At one time, I did have some of SPM’s articles on my own website, but now I don’t. Dave Norris (or whoever he really is) invited me to sign up for his .ning blog but the last time that I visited that blog, I told him to remove me from his blogroll and his email list immediately. I know that if we bid a man like that Godspeed, then we will partake in his sin.

Thank you for giving us the heads up. I hope that others will do what is right and turn away from him. I am saddened and furious with this person. Perhaps one day God will grant him repentance.

Well, sometimes words offend even if the words weren’t meant that way. When they are taken the wrong way the important and correct thing to do is apologize. Remember the “bullet for the Kingdom”?

This particular show has already generated responses from the subjects from parts 2 and 3 and their responses weren’t exactly favorable but to be expected. Some folks can certainly dish it out but can’t take it I guess.

People walked on egg-shells back in Luther and Calvins day as well which is why these two men were so successful. They kept pushing despite the opposition and are great examples for all of us to follow. I’m sure they apologized as well for certain things.

Thanks for doing the expose on the “Anti-Hyperpret Berate” site. You showed it was clear that that site is NOT for “debating” but for “berating”. They practical beg us to please please come to our site. They just want to claim, “Look, our site is sooo important, we even have Roderick, Dee Dee, Phil et al on our site”. That is the only reason they want us to join.

Let’s see if any of them take you up on your offer to come to TT if they think we won’t debate them.
